Service & Repair Engineer – Job Description:   We are seeking candidates with recent, hands-on experience in garage equipment maintenance. Key Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable practical experience working with both mechanical and hydraulic vehicle lifts.
  • Experience in the servicing and repair of garage equipment is highly desirable, along with current or previous GEA accreditation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including collaboration with engineers and Service Controller.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues and customers.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
The Role This position involves travelling to workshops, primarily within the Devon/Cornwall area, to carry out a varied range of tasks including preventative maintenance, calibrations, and breakdown repairs and occasional assistance with installations. You will work on a variety of garage equipment, including vehicle lifts and MOT equipment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing planned maintenance and repairs across a wide range of garage equipment
  • Attending call-outs to service and repair equipment as required
  • Accurately completing and submitting all relevant documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensuring full compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures
  • Liaising effectively with the Service Controller to coordinate work activities
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Package
