CCS Garage Equipment’s installation team has started works on site at Riverside Volvo’s brand new car dealership workshop in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Project Update: New garage equipment installation underway for Riverside Volvo Wakefield, West YorkshireEstablished regional car dealership Riverside Motor Group has appointed CCS Garage Equipment to deliver installation of its brand new workshop at its Wakefield premises.Starting out in 1982, Riverside is an independent business which has grown to encompass sites in Doncaster, Barnsley and Hull as well as the Wakefield dual-brand site whch is home to both Volvo and Honda brands, as well as Riverside’s Sports & Prestige range. The company is committed to its customer relationships, focused on offering high standards of service and care.The new workshop, servicing and maintaining both new and used Volvo and Honda vehicles, forms part of the business’s 40th anniversary celebrations in 2022, which has also seen multi-million pound refurbishment projects completed at the brand’s Doncaster site.

Work at Riverside’s Wakfield dealership site is now well underway, with the new facility’s internal works including partitioning, plasterboarding, first fix services and groundworks completed by our client’s appointed building contractors.Recesses for vehicle lifts have been constructed and flooring prepared. CCS Garage Equipment’s installation engineers will work on site to commence the full garage equipment installation, with a specification which includes:
- Class IV MOT bay
- 4 short platform vehicle scissor lifts
- 6 2-post vehicle lifts
- Compressed air system
- Lubrication systems & equipment
- Fume extraction systems
Works are underway and expected to be completed during autumn 2022, fully managed by CCS’ dedicated project manager and garage equipment installation specialists.

Prior to installation of garage equiment on site at Riverside’s Wakefield dealership, CCS Garage Equipment worked with our client and its appointed contractors to design a new vehicle workshop layout which made the most of the available space.This roomy site will comfortably accommodate our 10 servicing bays, as well as the MOT bay and ancillary equipment, giving Riverside’s car dealership and vehicle servicing team plenty of working space around each vehicle whilst allowing for excellent capacity for this busy dealership serving Volvo and Honda customers throughout the Wakfield and West Yorkshire region.
