Our CCS commercial workshop installation team is nearing completion of its work on site at TIP Trailers’ new Shepshed workshop in Leicestershire, creating an 8-bay workshop to support the UK operations of this international commercial truck and trailer dealer, servicing, repair, compliance and asset tracking specialist.

Part of TIP Trailers’ development of former Ryder sites UK-wide, customers of the Shepshed depot will benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities offered by this fully-equipped, new-build workshop which makes a significant addition to TIP’s regional operations.

Serving TIP’s HGV vehicle fleet which includes trailers, trucks and tanker units, CCS’ garage equipment installation programme for this new commercial workshop included:

• 8 commercial vehicle servicing and maintenance bays
• 3x prefabricated steel inspection pits
• 1x ATF test pit: a 13m steel prefabricated pit that meets DVSA testing standards for commercial vehicles
• Lighting installation
• Electrical distribution boards
• External floodlighting
• LEV fume extraction system
• Lubrication distribution and storage systems
