CCS Garage Equipment installed commercial vehicle workshop equipment, including a brace of Nussbaum 2-post Power Lifts, for Northgate’s vehicle hire depot in Basildon, Essex.
The 5000kg Power Lift models complement a suite of other equipment, which included wheel balancing and tyre changing equipment and compressed air systems, and are equipped with adapted, double-jointed arms developed by Nussbaum to accommodate both combustion engine and electric vehicles.
Northgate’s Basildon depot workshop is equipped with two Nussbaum Power Lifts installed by CCS Garage Equipment, each accommodating a load capacity of 5T to support vehicles across Northgate’s varied fleet, including new electric vehicles with heavier battery packs, wider vehicle profiles and adjusted vehicle lifting access points.

CCS partnered with FedEx and Nussbaum to deliver this smart, professional 4-post Combi Lift from Nussbaum’s commercial vehicle lift range to a FedEx logistics depot in Kent. The model specified by our client was an adapted, extra-wide 8T Combi Lift tailored to suit this varied fleet, included HGV tractor units.
