About the role:

We’re currently looking for an experienced Garage Equipment Installation Engineer to support clients nationwide as the business demands.

The role includes visiting our customers’ premises throughout the UK and working with all types of vehicle workshop equipment including the installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of 2 and 4-post vehicle lifts, pipework and compressed air and lubrication systems, Dura Workshop Furniture, MOT bays, brake testers, and other associated equipment.

You will have experience and an engineering qualification, excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, working well individually or as part of a team.

Salary is negotiable based on experience. The position may involve nights away from home to meet the demands of our customers.

Qualifications and training:

  • An engineering qualification is essential
  • Experience in the installation of all types of vehicle workshop equipment, and vehicle lifts in particular, is essential

Skills:

  • Proven experience in installation of garage equipment and vehicle lifting equipment
  • GEA accreditation

Personal traits and aptitudes:

  • Thorough, excellent attention to detail. PC literate
  • Willingness to travel from your base to customers nationwide
  • Good health to carry out this manual job

Salary:

  • Subject to experience.

  • UK-wide

Hours:

  • 40 hrs per week plus overtime
