We are seeking experienced Garage Equipment Calibration, Service and Installation Engineers

ATECH is a fast growing, family run business that supplies and supports a wide range of garage equipment, from installation to maintenance, calibration, and repairs. We serve a diverse range of customers, from independent garages to national chains, who rely on us as their trusted partner for all their equipment and service needs.

As our company continues to grow and demand increases, we need skilled installation and service/calibration engineers to work on a variety of garage equipment in MOT bays and workshops throughout the UK. Could this be you?

This is a field-based role, where you will travel to customer sites, using your home as your base. You will work on a wide range of garage equipment including; Emissions Analysers, Roller Brake Testers, Vehicle Lifts, Air Conditioning machines, Wheel and Tyre equipment, Air Compressors and more. 

The position involves on-site work directly with our customers, where you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine calibration and servicing of various garage equipment.
  • Completing necessary calibration and service paperwork.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment with minimal downtime for the customer.
  • Managing your van stock.
  • Carrying out seamless installations of new equipment.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment, following health and safety regulations.
  • Providing outstanding customer service.
  •  Working independently and as part of a team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within the industry, carrying out calibration and service work (of MOT bay equipment, lifts etc) is preferred.
  • Experience in MOT bay (Roller brake testers, lifts etc) installation is desirable.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and knowledge of various garage equipment is essential.
  • Self-motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
  • Willingness to participate in regular continual professional development.
  • Looking for a role with a daily variety.
  • A clean full UK driving licence is required.
  • Prepared for occasional overnight stays, if required.
  • Confident in driving long distances.
