In June 2023 Blake Angliss reached out to Concept Garage Equipment after seeing that the company’s offering aligned well with both his interests and his motorsport passion, we agreed that we seemed like the perfect fit as a sponsor for Angliss Motorsport.Our first race together was in the same month at Silverstone racetrack over the weekend of 1-4th June 2023, where Blake was racing in the Ginetta GT Championship driving a brand-new Ginetta G56 GTP car for the first time, where he enjoyed a sensational set of races with four race victories and a clean sweep of six podium finishes from six races!Having the Concept Garage Equipment logo and name emblazoned on the side of the car may not have improved Blake’s speed, but it certainly set the tone for the rest of the 2023 race season, where Concept continued to support Blake with his many further visits to the racetrack.In his personal life too, Blake has had a range of cars, including a DS3, Jaguar and his prized John Cooper Works Mini.
TOPDON Diagnostics to the rescue

Having experienced some issues with the JCW Mini, and with an engineering background, Blake was keen to resolve these issues himself, learning something from the experience at the same time.Blake purchased a TOPDON Phoenix Elite Diagnostic Tool, as this is a professional-grade diagnostic scanner which gives Original Equipment (OEM) level capabilities and works with up to 200 models of vehicle, including the JCW Mini.After learning a little about how to use the diagnostic machine and its capabilities Blake was able to resolve his car’s diagnostic issues and clear the error codes at the same time. Of course, he has the diagnostic machine for the next time something goes wrong with any of his other cars too.
