CCS was appointed by long-term, national waste management sector client Biffa to transform an existing Biffa premises in Trafford Park, Manchester, into a fully-equipped vehicle maintenance facility for the client’s fleet of RCVs and other commercial vehicles.
With the former facility closing imminently, our client and its appointed contractors, including CCS, reacted quickly to rework the Trafford Park facility’s specification from a bay purely to be used for the repair of defects, to a fully-staffed, operational workshop capable of accommodating multiple fleet vehicles for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Turning the project round in a matter of weeks, efficient project management and coordination between the client and contractor teams delivered a completed workshop that supports Biffa’s North West operations efficiently, safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
