CCS’ garage equipment installation team in the South of England has recently handed over Adams Morey’s latest workshop at Adanac Park, Southampton.

Continuing our rollout of upgraded, refurbished, relocated and new-build vehicle servicing, maintenance and testing workshops for Adams Morey across the South of England, CCS’ regional installation specialists have now completed phase 1 of the installation of leading garage equipment at our client’s new van dealership premises in Southampton.
Creating a fully-equipped workshop alongside office, meeting and colleague spaces, Adams Morey’s team and its van customers have access to the latest equipment, comfortable facilities and a convenient location. The dealership and workshop are now open, and CCS is set to continue our work with Adams Morey, routinely servicing the workshop to keep equipment up and running safely as the project moves into phase 2, which will see the installation of additional commercial vehicle servicing facilities in a newly-refurbished building.
Located at Adanac Park on the outskirts of the city, and benefiting from great access to major transport routes across the South West, this brand new facility in Southampton is branded as an Adams Morey Service Professional Dealership, supporting the servicing, maintenance, repair and testing of vans and light commercial vehicles using genuine parts from marques including Vauxhall, Citroën, Peugeot and Fiat.
The purpose-built Service Professional Dealership in Southampton delivers services including tyres, brakes, batteries, clutch and suspension services, full servicing and repairs, air conditioning servicing, repairs and diagnostics, approved warranty work, bodyshop repairs, MOTs for Class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles, and even motorhome habitation checks.

The spacious new commercial workshop facility for Adams Morey at Adanac Park, Southampton at the commencement of garage equipment installation works. The new dealership facility includes a total of 15 vehicle servicing bays, together with a host of state-of-the-art equipment including vehicle lifts, inspection pit and MOT bay.

A suite of Nussbaum Smart Lifts each offers 3500KG lifting capacity, suitable for the lifting, servicing and maintenance of cars and light vans across the dealership’s chosen brand ranges. Nussbaum Smart Lifts are reliable, hardwearing and offer a neat, frameless design that enables safe, free movement around the workshop floor.

The workshop’s MOT bay is equipped with a recessed 4-post platform lift for ramp-free drive-on access, a roller brake tester, jacking beam and headlamp tester, supporting complete in-house testing of light commercial vehicles and vans.

A suite of Stertil Koni vehicle lifts installed by CCS Garage Equipment at Adams Morey’s new Southampton workshop, each offering 7000KG lifting capacities. Our vehicle lift installation specification included Stertil Koni fixed, 2-post Freedomlifts and a Stertil Koni Four Post Lift.

This section of the workshop is equipped for the lifting, servicing, maintenance and inspection of larger light commercial vehicles, together with vehicles such as motorhomes. The workshop floor was completed with a professional epoxy resin floor paint scheme, aiding safe movement around the Southampton workshop by Adams Morey technicians.

The fully-equipped Adams Morey Southampton workshop features a recessed MOT bay alongside a vehicle inspection pit, incorporating jacking beam, integrated internal lighting for safe working, galvanised steps and anti-slip flooring. This MOT testing area accommodates vehicles across Classes 4, 5 and 7, creating a versatile workshop facility that adds excellent local testing and servicing capacity for commercial vehicle owners and operators.

The recessed 4-post lift in the Southampton commercial vehicle workshop’s MOT bay features wheel alignment turntables for complete testing of light commercial vehicles and vans.

Each MOT testing bay area is fitted with an MOT tool storage shadow board, allowing for organised, easily-accessible and visible storage of MOT tools in accordance with DVSA standards. It was an integral part of our brief for this workshop that equipment and testing facilities met DVSA requirements and standards for a commercially-viable, operational workshop to serve Adams Morey’s South West customers.

CCS Garage Equipment supplied and installed lubrication equipment by leading manufacturer Samoa. Samoa equipment is durable, hardwearing and efficient in its lubrication distribution, keeping the workshop operating with convenient access to ancillary services for workshop technicians. Equipment supplied included lubrication hoses, reels, associated pipework and mobile waste oil collection units.

The workshop’s ancillary services included an up-to-the-minute compressed air system and distribution pipework, together with fresh and waste oil steel bunded storage tanks, again including distribution pipework to serve bays around this extensive workshop.
