We’re hiring a Garage Equipment Engineer at Automotive Lift Services Ltd.

We’re a family-run garage equipment company based in Nottinghamshire looking for a motivated individual based in the local area to join our team.

The role involves the installation of garage equipment nationwide (some working away will be required), including full workshop refit projects.

As part of your role, we would also require support with garage equipment repair, servicing and calibration.

We’re looking for a practical, hard working, hands-on person who enjoys learning and problem-solving, with a friendly, professional manner and the ability to conduct themselves well on customer sites. As a strong team player, you’ll fit in well with our small team. You’ll need a positive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine interest in the role. You’ll need to be confident driving to customer sites across the country and hold a clean full UK driving licence. Good time management is vital along with the ability to complete engineer reports accurately using our reporting portal, Joblogic.

Previous garage equipment experience is not required, but strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fault-finding experience are essential. An engineering qualification is preferred but full training will be provided. Pay is based on a training wage, but this would be negotiable depending on experience and how quickly you learn the role. A company van will be provided on completion of training.
