Muller Automotive, a leading provider of automotive servicing equipment, has announced an update to its innovative Wireless 2-Post Lift, which has revolutionised vehicle maintenance and repair operations. This cutting-edge lift offers unparalleled flexibility, safety, and performance, streamlining workflows and reducing maintenance costs. In particular, the absence of a gantry between the columns makes it more adaptable to workshops with lower ceiling heights than conventional baseless lift designs.
The improved FOG AZUR50WHV2 now comes with W-shaped arms that move easily to a wide range of positions. With these symmetrical, telescopic, double-jointed arms, you can lift a wide range of vehicles, from small cars like the SMART Fortwo to oversized vans like Sprinters or Crafters with extra-long wheelbases. The easy-to-operate, articulated support arms also make EV servicing and battery repair much easier.
Unlike many baseless lifts, the FOG AZUR50WHV2 features individual controls and a dedicated hydraulic power unit for each column. This innovative design provides ample power for rapid lifting and allows operators to control the lift from either side, enhancing efficiency and flexibility. With a maximum capacity of 5000kg, this lift is ideal for handling EVs, 4x4s, campervans, and LCVs. The design also features a ‘clear floor’ working area, allowing specialist equipment to move freely under a raised vehicle.
“We’re thrilled to update a product that has already redefined vehicle lifting technology,” said Bernard Gravillis, Head of Commercial Activity at Muller Automotive UK. “The FOG AZUR50WHV2 addresses key challenges faced by service centres, offering greater flexibility, improved safety, and reduced maintenance, ultimately saving time and money.”
Versatile W-Shaped Arms: Enhanced articulation provides greater flexibility for lifting a wider range of vehicles.
Dual Control and Power: Each column features its own hydraulic power unit, providing fast, powerful lifting and enabling control from either side.
Intuitive LCD Screen: An integrated LCD screen simplifies setup and displays crucial operating parameters for easy monitoring and control.
Unobstructed Working Space: The absence of interconnecting ropes, hoses, or wires between the posts creates a free and unobstructed working environment, maximising workspace and safety.
Precise Latch Detection Mechanism: This innovative mechanism determines movement based on the latch’s status, ensuring efficient, accurate positioning at the desired height for tasks such as EV battery removal, transmission repair, and tyre changes.
Cable-free Synchronisation: Automatic synchronisation via wireless communication technology maintains precise lifting arm positioning, limiting deviation to a safe range.
Twin Hydraulic Drive: By eliminating lifting elements like screws, chains, and wire ropes, the twin hydraulic drive significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs.
Simplified Installation and Adaptability: The FOG AZUR50WHV2 requires less installation work and is more adaptable to various workspace configurations.
Enhanced Safety Features: A dedicated detecting mechanism identifies the mechanical locking unit’s engagement and disengagement, further improving safety.
The FOG AZVR50WHV2 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including automotive repair shops, fleet maintenance facilities, and dealerships. It provides a safer, more efficient, and cost-effective solution for lifting a wide range of vehicles, from small to large.
