This comprehensive investment underlines RTS Waste Management’s commitment to maintaining its fleet at the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

RTS Waste Management pride themselves on being able to offer a sustainable solution for commercial, construction and industrial businesses. As the company is constantly evolving and expanding, the demand for more advanced and dependable workshop equipment has increased to ensure the fleet remains fully operational and adheres to industry regulations. The introduction of Totalkare workshop equipment will allow them to fulfil this requirement.

HEAVY DUTY

The 35,000kg Y-MECH Lift provides RTS Waste Management with the capacity to maintain even the largest waste and recycling vehicles in its fleet. This lift offers exceptional stability and ease of use, enabling the company’s technicians to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.

Complementing the Y-MECH Lift, the T8AC cabled mobile column lifts offer flexibility in the workshop, allowing for easy manoeuvring and use across multiple vehicles simultaneously. Each column is capable of lifting up to 7,500kg, which features adjustable forks to cater for a variety of wheel diameters.

FLEXIBILITY

The DVSA-approved mobile brake tester from Totalkare adds another layer of flexibility, allowing RTS Waste Management to conduct thorough and precise brake tests, ensuring that all vehicles meet the stringent standards required for roadworthiness. Our standard model can test up to 16,000 kg axle load. For heavier axle loads, an upgraded version that can test up to 20,000 kg is also available.

Additionally, the headlamp tester is a vital tool for checking and adjusting vehicle headlights, The, to ensure that it meets the minimum required standards.

James Atkins, Projects Manager for Totalkare, expressed “the combination of lifting and testing equipment will help RTS Waste Management to keep their fleet in top condition and minimise downtime. They will also see a significant cost saving by testing in-house as opposed to outsourcing brake tests.”

Mark Redmond at RTS Waste Management said “The new equipment from Totalkare has already made a noticeable difference in our workshop operations. The Y-MECH Lift and T8AC mobile column lifts have significantly improved our ability to service our fleet quickly and effectively, while the mobile brake tester and headlamp tester ensure we meet all necessary safety standards. The excellent service provided by Totalkare, from the initial consultation through to installation has exceeded our expectations making it a truly seamless experience.”
