The DfT have just announced that they are extending the end date of this consultation by 3 weeks. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/changes-to-the-date-of-the-first-mot-test-and-research-into-other-mot-enhancements, “I am writing to let you know that after feedback from stakeholders we are extending the end date for returns to March 22^nd. We hope this additional 3 weeks will give trade groups and businesses the time to compile additional information for the call for evidence section in particular.
