Inspection Engineer

V-Tech Ltd are recruiting for a new Inspection Engineer to join our fast growing team.

The Inspection Engineer’s role involves travelling to garages and workshops across the UK, carrying out Inspections on a wide range of Vehicle Lifts and brands.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Inspections on a wide range of Vehicle Lifts and brands.
• Completion and submission of paperwork including job sheets and certification accurately & punctually.
• Liaising with office based Service Team on work schedule.
• Working with the warehouse manager to ensure van is stocked with tools, equipment and stock.
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and company procedures within the workplace.

Experience and Requirements:

• Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations including procedures and relevant certification.
• Works well within the service team including other engineers and office staff.
• Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to multi-task and use their initiative
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with different types of customers including large dealership groups and independent garages.
• Willingness to learn new products and undergo training where necessary.
• Identify opportunities for the service and sales teams to progress.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Flexibility to work long hours and be prepared for overnight stays if required.
• GEA accreditation would be advantageous.
