We are currently looking for a new brake tester engineer to join our team, we have been agents for BM Autoteknik for around 10 years now and we are seeking to increase our capacity to take on further contracts & improve our service. The role will involve visiting customer premises to carry out servicing, calibrations and repairs to our supplied machines. We may also ask you to install equipment once proven competent and relevant training is completed.

The ideal candidate will already have knowledge and experience working on BM brake testers, or if you are experienced with another brake tester manufacturer, your skills can be transferred over to looking after BM Equipment.

Duties include:

• Carrying out calibrations on BM brake testers
• Servicing and repairing BM brake testers.
• Carry out software updates from DVSA and BM Autoteknik (Training given)
• Carry out site surveys prior to installation of equipment when required, then full installation and customer training carried out (usually 2 staff on site)
• Occasional overnight stays maybe required from time to time.
• Fault finding and repairs on breakdowns, plus planned preventative maintenance.
• Build solid customer relationships to support increased customer satisfaction.
• We take pride in our quality of service & first time fix, feedback any requirements to improve products or services.
• Working closely within a team of other engineers and service technicians
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, company procedures.
• You will report and work directly with  our brake tester service department management team.

Required & Desirable Qualifications:

• Required – Previous experience as a brake tester and service engineer role.
• Required – Full driving license.
• Desirable – Experience of other Garage Equipment

Excellent rates of Pay:

From £37,050 – £46930 for a 47.5hr week – dependant on experience.

Overtime & Weekend work also available but optional
